Wendi Meise is an author and artist who specializes in children’s books, dog training guides, and original watercolor notebooks and journals. With a passion for storytelling and meaningful creative work, she has published more than 100 titles designed to encourage growth, connection, and confidence in both children and dog lovers alike.

Wendi is also an ordained Foursquare pastor, and her work is deeply rooted in a desire to share encouragement, faith, and hope in simple, meaningful ways. This heart-led foundation is woven gently into everything she creates.

Before becoming a full-time author, Wendi worked in schools as a learning assistant and behaviour assistant, supporting children through emotional, social, and developmental challenges. That hands-on experience continues to shape her work today, allowing her to create stories and resources that truly meet children where they are.

Wendi also homeschooled her two daughters, an experience that deeply shaped her understanding of how children learn, grow, and develop confidence. Through that journey, she saw firsthand the value of patience, consistency, and nurturing a child’s unique strengths. Her daughters have gone on to build successful careers, a reflection of the independence, discipline, and confidence developed during their homeschooling journey.

 

Today, she carries a special heart for homeschooling families and loves being able to support them through her books and free printable resources.
